Chickamauga Man Shot And Killed In Flintstone

Walker County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred around 6 a.m. Friday at Premier Pattern and Machine located on Pipe Shop Road in Flintstone.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said that Mike Mullens, 44, of Chickamauga was found shot to death inside his pickup truck at 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Mr. Mullens was a co-owner of Premier Pattern and Machine in Flintstone.

He had been shot one time, which proved to be fatal.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Walker County Sheriff's Office with the homicide investigation.

First Protected Bicycle Lanes In Chattanooga To Be On Broad Street
