City-wide:
“Lunch and Learn” Sessions with Legislators at the Downtown Library
Opportunity to meet city officials at the central and Northgate branches of the Chattanooga/Hamilton County Public Library. Bring a lunch and find out what’s going on.

3rd Annual TN Blueway Kayak and Canoe Race
Saturday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. at Ross’s Landing

Hunter Safety Class

James Adams will present on the butterflies of Mexico and Costa Rica. The public is welcome.

Downtown Sunset Kayak Trip
Friday, Sept. 25, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Outdoor Chattanooga and the Tennessee Aquarium will host a guided sunset kayak trip around Maclellan Island, the museum bluffs, and Ross's Landing. Adults and kids ages 14 and older when accompanied by adult. Cost: $25 per person ($20 for TN Aquarium Members) and reservations are required. Call (800) 262-0695.

Wilson Road Neighborhood Group Has Town Hall Meeting On March 2

Man, Child Killed In Crash On Highway 136 In Walker County; 2nd Child Seriously Injured

  A man and an unrestrained five-year-old child were killed when a vehicle went out of control on Highway 136 in Walker County on Saturday. A 10-year-old in the car was seriously injured. 2 People Shot After Domestic Dispute In Brainerd; Corey Moon Taken Into Custody On Saturday Night

Two people were shot during a domestic dispute in Brainerd late Friday night.   Chattanooga Police responded at 11:17 p.m. to the 4700 block of Rogers Road on a shooting.
