Chattanooga State Defeats Cleveland State, 3-1, In Volleyball

Chattanooga State defeated Cleveland State in a Tennessee Community College Athletic Association conference matchup Wednesday evening by a score of 3-1. Match scores were 25-23, 20-25, 25-15, 25-23.

 

The win lifts the Lady Tigers inaugural season record to 11-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

 

Emily Redden led the way with 27 assists, while Sidney Killingsworth added 10 kills, 12 digs and six blocks. Kayla Wimpee had 17 kills and five digs.

 

According to first year head coach, Janet Tate, “Tonight was another great all round effort by our team. These ladies are such a pleasure to coach. They just want to win!
