Division II Region Tournament Quarterfinals Begin Tuesday

Boys and girls basketball teams in Division II Class A region 1 will meet on Tuesday for region quarterfinal games.   The top two seeds out of the districts will host games.   In girls action, Notre Dame and CCS will host games and Silverdale and Grace will be on the road.

On the boys side, CCS and Notre Dame will also host with Silverdale and Boyd traveling to Knoxville.  

The winners will advance to the region semifinals which will be held at Notre Dame on Friday.  Region championship and consolation games will be played on Saturday.  

Girls Games: Tuesday 2/13
Notre Dame(H) vs Kings- 6pm
CCS(H) vs Knox Grace- 6pm
CAK(H) vs Silverdale- 6pm
Webb(H) vs Grace-Chattanooga-5:30pm

Boys Games: Tuesday 2/13
CCS(H) vs Kings- 7:30pm
Notre Dame (H) vs CAK- 7:30pm
Webb (H) vs Silverdale- 7:30pm
Knox Grace (H) vs Boyd- 7pm

2 People Injured In Motorcycle Accident On Highway 58

Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 58 on Saturday. The two were thrown from the motorcycle when they collided with a Jeep that had stopped unexpectedly. One person was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and the other by helicopter. Their injuries are thought to be non-life threatening at this time. (click for more)
