For more than 50 years, Chattanooga State Community College has served as an educational institution in the Tennessee Valley preparing thousands of students for employment. On Monday, beginning at 9 a.m., there will be a dedication of Chattanooga State’s Health Science Center, a 99,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility, which will be renamed as the Erlanger Health Science Center.

Approved earlier this year by the Tennessee Board of Regents, Erlanger has been an community champion for nursing and allied health education since the 1980s.

Expected guests include TBR regents Tom Griscom and Tom White; Erlanger officials Dr. Jan Keys, senior vice president and chief nurse executive; COO Bob Brooks, chief of staff Greg Gentry, chief medical officer Dr. Will Jackson and CFO Britt Tabor, Chattanooga State Foundation board members and administrators.
