Halloween Eerie Express Runs On Limited Dates In October
posted October 10, 2007

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum has partnered with Rock City Gardens to provide a Halloween experience on the Halloween Eerie Express. Riders will board the vintage train and listen to legends of ghosts wandering the Chickamauga Battlefield in search of their souls while riding along into the night straight to Rock City Gardens' Enchanted MAiZE Maze and Forest of Fear.

Upon arrival, riders will have access to all the fall festivities on the 10-acre farm including the Enchanted Maize, live music, hay rides, playground, a historic Rock City birdhouse barn and a kiddie hay maze. When the sun goes down the bonfire will be lit and ghost stories told. There is a Forest of Fear for those wanted an additional scare.

The Eerie Express offers a family-oriented haunted experience. Trains run Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27. Advanced ticket purchases are encouraged. The one price ticket for ages one to 100 is $28.

For more information contact the museum at 894-8028.
