Chattanooga’s Live Music Scene: CADAS To Benefit From John Hiatt Concert
by Bob Payne WWW.MYSPACE.COM/DAVRIK
posted August 18, 2008

Grammy winner John Hiatt and The Ageless Beauties will play the Tivoli Theater on Friday, Sept. 19, along with Randall Bramblett, with proceeds to benefit the Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services.

CADAS is a non-profit drug and alcohol treatment center servicing the Chattanooga community. Funds generated from this concert will be earmarked for a scholarship fund that directly helps those individuals and their families who want, need and deserve treatment for issues related to drug and alcohol abuse - but simply cannot afford it.

Hiatt is scheduled to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Music Association the night before his appearance in Chattanooga. He has appeared on David Lettermen’s show, Conan O’Brien, Saturday Night Live, and Austin City Limits.

This concert is part of the Toyota Concert Series and tickets may be purchased at the Memorial Auditorium box office, by phone at 423-642-TIXS, or by visiting the website click here.
