A cab driver told police he was robbed by two men who took his cash as well as his pants.
Quintez "Lil Homie" Gearing, 21, has been charged with aggravated robbery in the case.
Darrell Fluellen said he was called by "Lil Homie" and told to pick him up on 38th Street. He said he went to the back of the residence where he had picked him up several times before.
He said "Lil Homie" was not in sight, but he was approached instead by two black males, including one with a gun.
The cab driver said they told him to get out of his vehicle and go into the house. He said when inside, they took $193 in cash as well as his pants, which contained his cell phone.
The cab driver was able to take police to another residence where he had picked up "Lil Homie" in the past.
Officers said when Gearing saw them, he ran inside and locked the door. He finally came to the door after several knocks.
He denied knowing anything about the robbery.
