As part of the Friends of Moccasin Bend 2009 lecture series, Charles W. Maynard will present, "Spanish Expeditions into Tennessee in the 1500's."
"It is a story of conquest, but also of who the Spanish met. It is really more about the people who were already living in Tennessee."
The lecture will be held Monday, October 19 at 7:00pm in the Tennessee Aquarium auditorium. Enter through the Members entrance.
The event is open to the public. There is no admission charge.
