Mr. Gilmore will continue to practice in labor and employment law, providing advice and counsel on a wide variety of topics, ranging from workplace policy development and implementation to union avoidance.
He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section and its Equal Employment Opportunity Committee as well as the Tennessee Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section. He has published numerous articles on a range of labor and employment law topics and gives frequent presentations to professional and civic organizations.
Mr. Gilmore lives in downtown Chattanooga and will soon be joined by his wife, Susan Gregg Gilmore, and their youngest daughter.
Mr. Gilmore earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Baylor University and is licensed to practice in Tennessee, California, and Texas. He is a former judge advocate and chief trial counsel with the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for his service.
Mr. Gilmore previously practiced labor and employment law in Chattanooga, Los Angeles, and Nashville as a member of Miller & Martin, PLLC.
